Second Chair Services

With 20 years of experience as a litigation, trial and appellate lawyer, Mr. Fahling has spent tens of thousands of hours preparing for, trying and winning cases in federal and state courts across the nation.  He began his career as a deputy prosecuting attorney in Snohomish County, Washington, and went on to work as a senior trial attorney for a firm with a national practice.  Today, in addition to his legal practice, Mr. Fahling also serves as a judge pro tem and commissioner pro tem for Snohomish County Superior Court.  

Mr. Fahling is a nationally recognized legal commentator and an accomplished litigation, trial and appellate trainer.  Now, with Second Chair Services, Mr. Fahling is available to support you and your team in preparing to assist your client.  

Trial Services

Second Chair Services offers support and consultation for the trial attorney preparing a case for trial in federal and state tribunals.  Trial services include a file review and discussion of a specific case, off record consultation and preparation of theory, the development of themes, witness preparation, preparation of examinations and Second Chair in court, of counsel services.

Litigation Services

Litigation assistance includes discovery preparation, document review and production, brief writing; legal research and memoranda drafting, preparation of opinion letters and deposition appearances.

Appellate Services

Appellate services include researching and writing your brief for the US Supreme Court, Federal Courts of Appeal and Washington Appellate courts.
